I just recently purchased a 2024 Pro Team 195 with the 150 ProXs and I am still trying to learn these hulls as this is the first tracker and "non pad" boat that I have owned. I am running a 24 p Tempest plus that came on the boat with the motor in the 2nd hole from the top. I am turning 5800-5900 rpms and I am only getting 47-48 mph. Trim will go to half on the gauge and throw a massive rooster tail (not optimal) but I can't get it to even to the point it will porpoise. Are any of you guys running the proxs mounted in the 3rd hole from the top? Is there a trick no trimming these boats? I am used to just trimming close to where I need to be then feeling it out an not sure if that is causing my issue. Thanks in advance

I am getting the impression that your motor is still a bit high.  Likely this is part of the rooster tail deal you are describing.  As you suspect if the set up is improved then you should not be having any problems trimming up a bit more if needed with a deeper motor.  RPMs are good just seems a bit slower on the speed than it should be.  I would suspect you should be seeing at least the mid or perhaps the upper 50s and with a bit more seat time in that hull 60 is within reach.  I am a Ranger owner type of guy and have not practical experience with the hull you now have.
