Head Count for 2005 UBCS

Would one person from each club post how many folks they think will be attending the 2005 UBCS?

We need to get some kind of an idea of how many folks will be here to give to the sponsors when they ask us and some are waiting on a number so they can decide on that they will contribute...

This is a guess but I think the TCTC will have 20 people fishing.

I am thinking of 8 to 20, I will have a better figure on the 7th,after our next club tourney. The guys have shown a lot of interest, most of them needed a date, and the place. I am going to take them all a copy of the flyer. The guys will probably take a weeks vacation to come, so the flyer might help.

I know we will have at least what we had for the first tournament but I will have a better idea after our next meeting. It's early but I'm pretty sure everyone that fished the last one will fish this one and I think we are going to be able to convince alot more to show up.

Jared... did you find anything out from your club at the meeting? Do you know an aproximate number of folks that will be fishing?

Laurie, hunting season is killing us. We didn't have that many members at the last meeting but I know all those who fished last year will be there this year. I'm sure we will have more but it's too early to tell. Hopefully at our Christmas party we will know more. I reserved a camping spot for my camper.

I will try to work with what I have. I think we will be renting a camper ourselves since i think that we are going to need all the cabins for other folks

Laurie, Do we all need to go in on a RV like mike noble was talking about so that all our visitors can have the cabins? I would be willing to go in on one of those if that would be better than getting a cabin.

I think that may be the case once we get a real head count on the folks that will attend. We have three cabins that will hold 8 people each comfortable and with a little work 10 each depending on the requirements of those folks. I am more than willing to go in on a RV or whatever it takes so that everyone is comfortable for the weekend.

Once we get a better head count we will know more

If we go the RV route, do we need to reserve some RV spots at Grand Bayou? I was kind of waiting on "numbers" before I did anything.

I am not sure when we will get the numbers that we are looking for. With hunting season here and a lot of our anglers in the hunting mode it may be late December or early Jan before we get more info from them...

talk about the UBCS at the Christmas Party? I am still trying to get a general guestimate on the number of folks that might attend so that we can figure out the dinner and get some ideas on shirt prices...

I talked about a lot of things in my sloppy state.

I did mention the UBCS but I did not get a number of people. I'm going to go out on a limb and tell you we will have at least 12 but it's still early. We had about half of our members at the Christmas party. I think our next meeting in January we will have quite a bit more. I will try to get a more definite number.

Lets see if this helps.....Whats the fastest way to a mans heart? A sharp knife through the chest!!! No No just kidding ( I think)...Supper is a go on this end and willl be consisting of chicken/ribs...and possibly for us southern people maybe say SAUSAGE... sides of baked beans and potato salad.......Now go back tell everyone in your clubs and friends and ringers er um I mean members....to come on up and have a great time..........Dave

Unless someone drops out we have 14 right now that are going to fish and possibly 4 more. I told everyone they needed to decide and make arrangements to sleep. I guess when we put a deadline everybody will have to make a decision. I'm really hoping on 18 of us to be there. Who knows maybe once everyone starts getting fired up and talking we may end up with more.

Lets go ahead and set the Deadline for May 1, 2005 at noon...

I will try to get that posted on the main site with all the other information on the tournament.

For those of you that are looking to bring your campers you have a choice of a 30 amp slot or a 50 amp slot. They are 15 and 20 a night. That is a rounded number but close enough for fishin'

They said that the slots go quick so you will want to reserve yours as soon as possible so that you will have one. I was told that we can not put up a tent on the lawn of the cabins so make sure that you get a camper/RV site if you are tenting it. I know that there is a hotel that is not too far off and there are boat slots for rent at the camp grounds too. I think that we will be able to tie up a few boats at the cabins as well.

I am just rambeling here but we do need a good head count soon! If you are not going to be able to come and have cabin space let me know so I can dole it out to those that would like to sleep in a cabin and for those of you that are not on the cabin list I think there are two possibly three rooms open.

Go ahead and sign me up, I plan on being there may need a place to fish from as we discussed at the BPS deal. if you can't find me a temporary home put me to work working the weigh in or something....

Would everyone let me know if your numbers have firmed up for the Ultimate Bass Club Shoot Out? I need some numbers so that we can figure shirt cost, Saturday Night Dinner cost, and a few other things...

You are welcome to fish if you don't belong to a club, you just have to be an Ultimate Bass Member... There will be NO SIGN UP the day of the tournament so please let me know if you plan on being there so that you will get all the necessary information.

I am going to start keeping a list of what I have so far and you all need to let me know if it is right or not...

TCTC - 20 participants ?? Guests
Port City - 10 participants ?? Guests
Lock Jaw - 14 participants ?? Guests

Its a little far to drive for me and I dont think my new curado will cast that far
