Forum Tip #4 Speed up your forum viewing

For those of you that are on dial up or have a slower connection to the site please follow the directions below to help speed up your viewing experience.

If you go to your profile you will notice that on the left there are links to several different areas in your profile. These areas give you more control over what you see and don't see in the forum.

Go to Look and Layout Preferences and notice that there are several tic boxes. Those tic boxes change what you see while viewing the forum.

If you are having trouble with slow loading pages you can tic the boxes that disable the avatars and signatures in the message view. This effects only your view. It will allow you to browse the forum threads and messages without having to load the avatars and siggys that may cause the page to load slowly if you are not on a fast connection.

What's this dial-up thing your talking about,is that kinda like a string and a can
