Did you get your boat all set?  Did forget to mention that once that lakes have enough ice I do go ice fishing.

Put the boat in up to mid November... then it's wait until March! 
4 months of HELL

If you were down here around the Big G, the only problem you MIGHT have is a lil ice on the ramp,  river has too much current to freeze the main lake.      Have seen some ice in Backwater but not on the main lake.   I try to go every possible chance.

Yeah I got my boat back and then did a number on the prop shaft and prop 4 days later.  I've been running it anyway cuz there is not much time left and I'm not hanging up the rods till the ice shuts me down.

Going too try to put it off till the end of Nov,Just got my boat this year. Most of my friends do theres the first part of Nov. Later if the weather holds up.
