Hi Connie, was just wondering about having this real rebuilt, as well as a really beat up green bantam curado. The mag 100 is still in pretty good shape, the anti reverse is no longer working but it still casts good, if a lot of pressure is applied namely a big fish it reels a bit choppy. The curado is in much tougher shape, totally locked up, not even the same reel handle on it, not sure if it's worth fixing or if I should sell it for parts, whatever info I can get would be greatly appreciated.

basspro8, i don't think parts are available for the bantum mag 100. well, fixing that green curado is up to you. we get them here in the shop in parts and anglers are so devoted to them, they don't care what it costs to get them up and running again. you can put it on ebay and see what happens. it probably would sell as guys are scrounging anywhere and everywhere to get their hands on them.
you might just put your mag 100 in a display box and have fond memories of all the fish it has caught and smile with the stories you can tell. and remember, most anglers never let the truth interfere with a good story.:)

It still casts and reels well. Used it last year a couple of times. I caught a 3 lber on it and it started to reel a little choppy. And the anti-reverse doesn't work anymore. But I have caught a ton of fish on it. Thats the one I learned on. Maybe time to officially retire it.
