Went Red fishing for the first time this weekend, and I think i am hooked for life. Found a spot in the gulf of mexico that gave us the trip of a lifetime. We caught over 50 bull reds Saturday and Sunday. Smallest fish was 23 lbs, largest fish was 33 lbs. We only kept our legal limit of 1 fish over 27 inches each day, but it was worth it. We easily had over 1000 lbs of fish in 2 days. Fished in Gator Boats new Gator Bay series boats. It was an awesome ride.

Man that sounds like a lot of fun. I had heard that they were turning on down there. I will be moving to Biloxi in a couple months. The bite will probably be over by then but I am looking forward to next year ~c~
