Rod building

I am currently getting back into making baits again.  Wanted to know what every one is looking for.  I dont make cranks or any other hard baits.  My specialty has been poured jigs in the past trying to find out what colors most people use.  Also thought about getting back into rod building again want to know what rod size and weight would most people prefer.  Most people would pick a 7' MH if they had to have one rod to fish with.

For me and my company, the most popular jig I sell is a 3/8oz. flipping head(arkey) in black/blue with watermelon/red being a close second.

My favorite custom rod is a 7ft MH fast action rod. I was getting them on Shakari blanks, but now I've switched to the Graphite USA DHX 704 blank.
