Lake level is 1,524 feet (95-percent full). No reports lately. Department biologists investigated a recent fish kill. Threadfin shad (thousands) were found dead and dying from dam to dam.  This is the only fish species that was observed and is due to a golden algae bloom.  Preliminary counts of the algae assemblage are at 40-percent of the alga community, making it the dominant alga at Saguaro.  Bass fishing has been very slow. There is a certified scale at the marina to get an official weight and still release your catch. Two witnesses are needed for the weight to be official
