An angler reported lake was white capping and tough to hold the boat. Fished for an hour before the first bite. It was a 2 pounder on a t-rig. About 20 minutes later, a 3 pounder on a jerkbait. Caught another jerk fish at noon, then missed a t-rig bite, then farmed another t-rig fish 10 feet from the boat when he caught air and spit it. The bites were on banks that were getting pounded by wind and waves. Never got touched on worms. Had to go to creature baits. Never got hit on a blade or trap. The fish lately have been eating well and have some girth. Water temp was 53.3 at 0800 and 54.1 was the warmest water located.
