Looking for reasons you particularly like that Nitro you own and why.  What made you buy that boat?

The Nitros offer so much more room up in the front. All of the other brands cut out so much front deck room with how the beam tapers in.

Speed: There isnt much out there that will outperform a Nitro (pound for pound). And now with Fuzion, forget about it.

I think the pricing hurts Nitro though, a lot of people think that since its cheaper it must be a cheaper built boat. So they stay away with out giving the boat a chance.

I'm with Hale.

I love the room, as I'm a big guy and don't like standing on the front of a lawn dart all day.  The 96inch beam I have runs from the rear deck to about 1/2 or 3/4ths the way up onto the front deck and then rounds out to the front rather then some of the other boats on the market.

I have a very dry ride that won't beat you up even in ruff water you can get up on plane and just ride the tops.  The fishing platform is very stable and level.  Both make a day on the water much easier on your body.  I've see other folks on there boats where it looks like they are climbing a hill all day, or have to hold on to the butt set everytime the guy/gal in the back of the boat walks from one side to the other.

Now, I think over the past few years Nitro has lost it's damn mind over the price, but as long as the demand is high the price won't do anything but climb.

Where are you guys buying these cheap boats at.  Because BPS is pretty dang proud of the ones that I have looked at.  I hear that they have completely changed the hull design.  I have way to much experience with a 97 700lx and that boat would beat you to death.

any smaller boat will beat you to death, Ive been jarred a few times in my 882 that a 20-21'er wouldnt of had to much of a problem with.  Me and my dad used to have a Triton TR176 and with it being smaller would beat you up sometimes.

I purchased a 1991 2000DC used back in 1993. It was a trade-in, mint cond. and I was shaking because it was sooo nice. Still had orig. paint on spark plugs (evinrude 200XP). The dealer tried to pull a fast one when it had a problem but a friend (omc mechanic ) Had OMC come to the plate ( weak fly wheel magnets ) only cost me $125.00
Traded the motor for a 150 ficht ( didn't need to go 75 mph and pay a fortune for fuel ) Thanks to amsoil my ficht runs fine. I still love my boat, it has some chips but overall it looks great, even if it only does 60 mph...   KB

I was out looking for a bass boat and went to a local marina that sold new and used. I seen this Nitro setting next to a skeeter and she looked  ~shade better than the others. I like the dual console for the wife and/or friends. The boat had only been purchased the previous year and looked very well kept. The price then sold me next. ~c~
The previous owner had installed the depth finders and other extras up front already. She was ready to fish. So we fished......
This was my third boat and so far the best one I've owned.
I have had her for almost 9 years now and she has always treated me well. I would only go bigger if/when some day I trade up. The little girl does good but I am getting bigger.    lo :roll2:  lo

As far as price for the 2010 Nitros, they can't be beat. Where else can you find a 20ft boat w/225  rigged ready to fish for  33k (Z8), the Z7 w/200 is still under 25k. I looked @ BAss Cat, Ranger, Tritons ect. and they are very pround of thier boats. Just like cars they all have thier good and bad points. A 2007 Bass Cat Cougar with 225/250 is running 28k and up. I always wonder way a guy that says he loves his boat , its the best and knocks other brands is selling his boat after two yrs.

The big water ride and storage storage storage. My 929 will get up on top of the best chop and just boogie ! It is a heavy boat but all the better when the winds get up.

Room on this 96inch beam is outstanding. The co-angler moving around doesn't bother the pro up front. One great boat.

the fishability.  by that I mean the larger than average front decks, nice storage layouts, wide and stable. and of course you get all this for a great price.  compnay stability doesn't hurt either. cannot wait for my 2010 to come in.  ~beer~

I have a 911 CDC an I really love the spacious front deck, tons and tons of storage.  When me and my fishing partner are moving around the boat hardly moves.  The stability while fishing and mving across the water is unbeatable.  The best purchase I have mad in the few bass boats I have owned.  Love It!!!!

I love my 929, it is an 01 and has be a great boat. I will piggy back on the storage and stability. I also love my livewells, deep rounded corners. I have never lost a fish in 4 years of tournament fishing...knock on wood. I will say I have my issues with Nitro. First, I feel like like tracker marine group doesn't do enough for us. I don't think there is a owners trail like with other brands. I also think they could make some changes that would make the boats better. First I have had trailer issues and had to buy a new trailer. I didn't go back with nitro I bought a Ez-loader trailer. They make trailer for Legend and skeeter...Love my new trailer. I also feel like the Nitro pride apparel could use some help. In the past few years they have taken some great steps to better the brand but more can be done. I may have just had a bad trailer and Im sure their are guys out there that have had no issues with there boats or trailers. Most of my complaints are with management of the company not the product. Overall you wont find a better boat for the money and the only thing I would trade mine for is a new one.

Catch1Release1

~fff I bought my Nitro 482 new off the show room floor in 2007. The boat has plenty of storage, large casting deck, and at 17'9" I can get into places most of the 20' boats can only imagine. I love the power that the Mercury 150 Optimax delivers and will hole shot like the big boys. It's fast, dry, and delivers the smoothest ride when the water gets choppy from bigger boats in summer. Mine came with a hot foot and I would recommend that for any boat owner that has a V6 or higher. The only problem I have had is chime walking at full trim, but with a little practice with the steering it corrects itself. Loaded it will run 66mph with one passenger, other wise it will push around 68.
