what are your favorite  combos's Reel with rod what brands

adam

what combos do you guys and gals like to use the most ?

Eric99

I have been particularly impressed with the Extreme combo from BPS. It is a 6.3/1 reel and I use the 7 foot MH rod. It is comfortable and very sensative. That is my worm rod. I like the Crankin stick for crank and spinner baits. It has nice backbone and a fast tip to really load up the rod for lighter baits. It is a combo graphite/fiberglass rod. I like to use that with the old Spider cast SC500 reels but can't find them anymore.

That is the very reason we now specialize in Shimano Freshwater baitcasters only.
My shop used to be a Zebco warranty center and I took in all brands of reels. The shimano reels are leading the pack IMHO. The internal components are excellent and the quality is outstanding. Glad you like the shimano's also. conniek
