Glad to see i finally got some company ! Guess everyone is in bed now.  Catch up with me later and lets share some new fishing stories or lies, whatever you care to share.

I don't have alot of good stories but I am a typcial fisherman.   I have a few stories.  What prop are you running on your 210 and what kind of gps speeds are you seeing.  I just got out of a 202 and in this 210.  Haven't found the sweet spot in the 210 yet.

Well right now i'm running a 25 TXP and i was getting 74 mph but i was still breaking the motor in, so i really haven't started playing with it a whole lot. I talked to my dealer yesterday and he told me that he would have me running mid 80's by the time he gets done with my motor after break in. They just had to put a new powerhead on and i got it back today so it's time to start it all over again. Sometimes i wish i would have left that 300 hp on it, just so i could have seen what i could have gotten out of it.

Are you running the 250HPDI on that 210.  That's what I have and man I am somewhat discouraged after getting out of my 202/225VMAX.  I would run 80 all day long with a super fast holeshot.  This HPDI just doesn't feel like it has the pep.  I have not really played alot with mine either as I only have 6 hrs on it.  I am running a 27 TXP.  Tried the 27 T1 it came with but just couldn't turn the RPM's.  I haven't moved the TXP yet but I have ran 76 GPS.  I am hoping after the 10 hr adjustments and a little moving up with the jackplate I might be able to get 80.  I will be extemely happy to reach 80 with this one.  Boat does ride and fish better than the 202 though.

If you get the TXP, you will learn real quick that it's the prop for that boat.  If you have a 250 on that boat, you could run a 26 TXP and I GUARANTEE you will hit 80 with no problem at all.  I have the 225 on mine and i have gotten 76 GPS without ever adjusting the jackplate and that was with the tempest plus on it. You will notice with a TXP, that you will see great hole shot, and some serious bow lift also and it's QUICK QUICK QUICK.  From what i heard, when your 10 hours is up, you will notice the motor loosen up, but i have yet to find that out. You'll probably get there before i will now, unless i can find some time to get on the river and just run it back and forth to the lock and back to shreveport a couple times.

I bet you will beat me to the 10 hr.  I have 6 hours on mine and bought it back in February.  Been working to much.  I do like the TXP and hope I can reach 80.  That would be sweet.  I will keep you up to date on speeds.  Do you fish the Red River around Shreveport alot?  I am from central Louisiana and dying to get up further north than here.  I have been fishing south of Alexandria for about 15 years now but seems like north is the place to be.  Everybody here will run at least to Coushatta in all the tournaments.  Maybe we can trade a fishing trip one day.  I usually start catching some better fish around late July early August on top water.  Catch sac-a-lait from April-October.

I used to fish the river alot until i got into the twin cities club and i'm having to learn how to fish lakes again. I fished the river for 8 years straight. I have fished it from Lock Three all the way to Caddo Lake Dam, so i have been from one tip to the other.

You should have some good info.  I catch some super fish in the Spring and Fall but can't find the better fish in the summer.  These oxbows down south have no vegetation and little structure.  It's hard to find the better fish in the summer.  Anyway, that's a sweet ride you got.  How do you post your picture below your typed message like yours.  I would like to show you mine.

Finding fish and staying on top of them in the river can be hard sometimes, even for those that have fished it for a long time. If you have very little structure down there, you ought to try and create some artificial structure for them. You would be amazed how many fish you can draw to a brush pile that is as big as your living room or something in comparison. Thanks for the compliments on my ride and as far as my picture posted, you need to go into your profile and create a siggy which is what that is.  There are numerous people on here that create some great siggy's and i'm sure if you asked any of them very nicely they would help you out. Heck even i could help you out if i can remember how to do it. Just email me your pictures of your boat and i'll see what i can do and maybe i can talk you through it. Hope this helps and stay in touch !

I'll try to sink something.  Let me get a good picture of my ride and I will email it.  Thanks for the help.

Blazer210ProV

ONE WORD OF ADVICE !  IF YOU SINK SOMETHING IN THE RIVER, YOU BETTER MAKE SURE IT HAS ALOT OF WEIGHT ON IT, BECAUSE THE CURRENT WILL MOVE IT !

jroe210

what would you suggest?  Tree's with concrete block..etc...  I think I may also try to put a few in some of the oxbows where there are some drop offs.

Blazer210ProV

Concrete Cinder Blocks or Steel pipe. Tires with concrete poured into one end.
