Got out a little late, 8:30 or so. Took a few minutes to find fish, but had an alright couple hours.  These fish are now in the fall transition, chasing balls of baitfish everywhere. White strike king spinnerbait, 1/4 oz, nothing but a trailer hook. First 3 fishes all under 12 inches, then 1 that went 17 inches, 2lbs 3oz on my berkley digital scale. another 12'' fish, and than a whale...........just over 19'', 5lb 3oz, looked like she ate a beachball.
Next fish taught me 2 lessons, when they are inhaling the spinnerbait-remove the trailer hook...AND, re-tie. set the hook, she came up and flopped, turned her head and broke me off QUICK. she was over 3 lbs, and i deserved to lose her. My line was so chewed up, never checked it after those first 6 fish. :bang :bang  However, if thats any hint, i was fishing pretty heavy cover. Tried other colors and sizes, only small fish. Off the water around 1pm, didnt hit anything with my boat, and caught fish. Pretty good day, see you guys saturday.
