I got this little fish using a poison tail jig in 3/8 oz COOL WATERMELON



It starting to get Jig weather here

Were you swimming it or bouncing it?

I was sliding it along in the shallows then after it fell off the drop from 1 to 6 feet I poped it back up off the bottom and she swam off with it

During the summer months the hydrilla is sooooooo heavy, I can't get a jig through.

Yes I have them all 
but the cool watermelon is the ticket right now. As the water cools the Crigger craw will be the color until march.Then the blue's will come into their own until summer.
 I am fishing the same lake (Newton) all winter as part of the Parasite team fishing all the opens this winter on power plant lakes.
