I am going to be a new boat owner once I return from deployment, and was wondering what routine maintenance and care should be done after each time out on the water. I am purchasing an Xpress HD18SC with the Catfish package (no carpet) and a 115 hp Yamaha.

I try to wipe mine down with Bass Boat Saver after every trip. Gets the scum line off and helps keep it off. Throw all your trash out (so it won't accumulate). Give everything a once over before heading out just to make sure it's all there and secure.

Congrats on the new ride!!

if you want to save money try 3/4 vinager 1/4 water in a spray bottol it will take the scum off and wont leave water marks thats what i use on my G3--and allways walk around and take a good look at your rig truck and boat and trailer

You should submit this in the General Tips area! Good idea!
