Korea Report 25th March 2008

GumHo Lake (6 ~ 7 foot depths, stained water 14 inch visibility)
Bank fishing
25th March 2008
Sunny with no clouds
10~15mph winds
Air - low 40*, high 57*
Water - 52* ~ 55*

Today's fishing was tough, the air and water temperatures were down a little at this lake and I think the Bass were being a bit picky!!
I fished from 8:00am (trying my luck with some topwater...with no luck) until 6:30pm and only managed to catch 6 Bass from 12 ~ 14 inches and 1 slimy guy around 20 ~ 21 inches 


All fish were caught in one small area of the lake, the rest of the lake's water was stained in a strange way...kinda cloudy looking and at one point there was a couple of guys in a small inflatable boat taking water samples    but all the bass looked very healthy and fat

I found a few dead bass in the lake today, but this photo was a bit different....a dead bass and dead turtle in the same shot

HMMMM,  the Dead fish and turtles doesn't sound to good.

and cloudy water...never know what might have drained in there.
makes ya wonder.. time will tell

This lake has been great fishing, but it's been a little different the last 2 times  so I hope it's nothing too serious.

In the summer this lake is covered almost completely with pads and other water plants, and that means only one thing
