Acadia baitcaster

Does any one own an acadia baitcaster or tried it?  I am thinking of getting one and wanting to know what others thought of it.  As good quality their rods are, I am hoping their reel is the same.

I'm like you Tomcat...I've got a couple of the rods and I think they can't be beat for the money so I decided to try the reel. I have to say that I was a little dissapointed. The fit and finish looked cheap and I expected better performance from an 11 bearing reel. It may be that I was expecting more than I should...and maybe I haven't tuned it correctly but currently that reel is in a zip lock as a back up reel......I would be interested in some other opinions.....

    I would say for the money you are getting good reel, and excellent customer service.  I broke a brake on one and they replace the whole reel, and let me keep the old one, so now I have 2.  They are okay, but I have several Shimano Curados that I fish with, and they are the same weight, but aren't quite the same quality. 

    But then again, they are less than half the  price.  And they are nice reels.
