used to fish it with my club in early September...typically would be won on a frog bite from the north roadbed to as far back into the creek as you could go...

big rods, braid.  SPROs and Horny Toads...

on the right day, you could put a bag together pushing 24-25 pounds...

It's a great little lake. Watch out for the speed limit on the lake. A lot of grass however the jig and creature bite around tree's and fence lines is good this time of the year. It is a small lake so you should be able to figure it out in a day. Used to have some good crappie and hybrid gills too.
