Fished Nelson today for about 5 hours.  First trip and first fish of the year!  It sure felt good to get back on the water, even if the wind was blowing 30mph!  I caught two, both a shade over 2lbs.  I sure hate fishing in the wind and even more when it was 30F when I launched...

Spent the day at Nelson, pretty decent day, a couple in the 5 range and a ton of 2's with the normal boatload of non-keepers.  Most fish came on the jig and the 3" beaver with a couple on a worm.
Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity...
