Well, not that I need anymore KaRu lures, since I have about 400-500 bucks worth already, but if your really that unhappy with them, I would be willing to take them off your hands, though not at full price....  PM if your interested.

In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away.

Bountiful Waters

I have not fished the Vibraspin and can't comment on those, but I have fished the Vibrashock. Let's knock the company and name off for a minute. I have fished a bladed swimming jig since the introduction of the Chatterbait a few years ago. I did not like the hook on that bait, but still had alot of success with it. Once the other companies took off from the Rad lure, I started fishing the Pure Poison bladed jig from Stanley, once again with alot of success. I have dealt with Karl and Rudy from KaRu lures  over the past 12 months and buy from them because I like them as people and I know they fish their own product. I do like the Vibrashock mainly because of the hook and the football style head. When you speak of the top four baits laying on your deck of the boat, the Vibrashock is laying on mine, normally two poles in different patterns (one white/one dark) tipped with my swimbait as a trailer.  I have caught fish on that rig from Mexico all the way up to Indiana. The bladed swim jig does work and works very well. I choose KaRu products because I like the two guys running the company. Go out on the water 1/2 day or one full day with nothing else but a few Vibrashocks and give it a whirl. A bladed jig is not the answer to all fishing, but it certainly has it's place. Good luck to ya!

I fish the vibraspin very slow. I just think that it's WAY to heavy to run so shallow. They feel like you are throwing 3oz from your rod. I just can't toss it out there right next to a stump and have a quiet entry.I use my thumb alot for casting and entering the lure softly. On KaRu vibraspins It's so heavy It's hard to get it placed right in there with out a huge splash.Having just one willow blade? Not to much flash going on there.Don't act like schooling bait fish to me.

The paint on them look really good.If the vibraspin was alot smaller, had two blades of some sort, and ran deeper I think it would work alot better.Well for me it would.I have even taken one apart.I cut the wire a little shorter.Put on two willow blades.Bent the wire so it is more on a 45 degree angle and not so wide open.Changed the skirt a little.Just wish I could change the weight of it.All this to get a $6 vibraspin to work for me? To me thats just a $6 peice of nothing. Now I have $100 worth of lures for parts.

Vibrashocks is something I need to fish more.I don't have to much time with them. They do look and feel really good. They have some great action to them also.I need to catch a few with them 1st before I have it on the deck with my top 4 baits.

The Vibraspin was not made to replace the commomn spinnerbait.  It is a true BIG fish bait. There are 2 sizes and one is heavier than the other.  If I am fishing water shallower than 6 foot I fish the size 1.  I use the size 2 for water 6 foot to 30 foot.

Just like there are days a 1/4 oz spinnerbait will outfish a 3/8,  You can't forcefeed fish a huge bait when they want a smaller one.

As far as the 1 blade.  These baits are not meant to look like a school of baitfish, but rather one large baitfish.  ;)

While I have caught fish with them on a steady retreive , I have much better luck with them using a Lift and drop.

I also tend to have much better results with them where I am making Long cast and fishing offshore structure and outside grass lines.  But there are days that a more sublte bait will outproce the vibraspin for me .  Then I tie on a single willow spinner bait in the 3/4 to 2oz size depending what depth of water I am fishing.

I use the vibraspin to represent gizzard shad and bluegills most of the time.   Typically if fish are keying on threadfin , then the vibraspins profile is too big, and a smaller more compact spinnerbait would be the better choice.

As far as thi vibrashock, they are my #1 goto.

Ok I have an ABA Tournament on Saturday.Would you use a Vibrashock to fish along the banks with the spawn going on?Would you fish it up on the 3-6 foot flats?

Pre-spawn yes, post-spawn yes, during the spawn can be tough no matter what you throw unless your sight fishing. I have a ton of confidence in my VibraShock. Anyone that has ever fished with me knows I'll throw it 90% of the time. Confidence in a lure is key to success, I don't think I'd go into a tourney fishing a lure that I'm not familiar with or lack confidence in. Thats my .02

X2  I throw the vibrashock 90% of the time as well.  The only time  I change is when I know there is fish in the area and I'm still not getting bit.

Yup  I would too, but as Gotstafish says, in a tourny you have to go with something you have confidence in.  I have confidence in the vibrashock line so It would be my first choice with perhaps a lizard c-rigged as second.

I'll throw a spinnerbait 90% of the time. The lake has been slow for the last few days.Alot of guys said the same thing.I think I'm going to rig up a vibrashock and put it on deck.It won't be the first thing to throw but it will have It's time in the water for sure. The water has been muddy so I'll have to figure what color to use.

Bassburner1 you don't know me to well but if you knew me like these other guys around here you would know I'm not a true blue bass guy but I can tell you this I have caught fish on the vibershock in Illinois and Indiana and Michigan. we all know that there isn't a such a thing as a magic lure that will catch a fish everytime you go fishing with it. So don't give up on it and sooner or later you will find just the right time and place and them bass will hit it.

I fish the vibrapsin in 10 inches of water and mow the big uns down.  They can replace a spinnerbait if you give them the chance to............Using them both corresponding with each other is what i find the best.  A lot of times on the flats the fish get conditioned to the spinnebait and we will throw the vibraspin and like i said just mow em down ~c~ ~c~ It is an awesome bait to use for prespawn, spawn, and postspawn fish as well as schooling fish and suspended fish..........As far as the big splash i have no trouble landing the bait up by the bank or a lay down or cluster of pads and making it land soft.  It is a great bait and this is coming from a spinner bait guy.  When karl and rudy first showed my brother and i this bait i was the first to say wont ever replace my spinner bait in the spring time.  Karl and Rudy will both tell you i said that.  But after going out and putting them to the test on tough condition days i have all the confidence in the world in them and as shawn has said they catch big ones..........But in order to do so you have to give them a shot and fish them properly i love burning them in a foot of water it is an awesome way to catch them right now
