I read that someone didn't know the name of the"other" club down here in Colorado Springs.

We are the "Colorado Bass Anglers," -Colorado's Finest Coed Bass Fishing Club! We meet at On the Border Mexican Grill and Cantina, 2190 Southgate Rd., CO 80906 every 1st Tuesady of the month at 7:00pm. Our youth club, Southern Colorado Junior Bass Club, meets prior at 6:00pm same place!

Our tournaments run from 5-6am to 11:00am on Saturdays, mostly. Only 2 keeper fish allowed to be weighed in per boat/team. Short tournaments have been working great for those of us that have things the wife wants us to get done on the weekends. We get to fish and complete the Honey Do's! Sweet!!!

We fish a team format throughout the year, with the rule that no two people are allowed to fish together more than once. We do a split points system (1st=200 points-100 to each member on that team...2nd=190 points-95 to each member on that team) which creates some tight finishes for the top 8 Championship.

Al West Boat Service has agreed to sponsor the "Top Female of the Year" trophy, "every year!" Below are a few of the CBA's finest!

We hold a Championship, for our Top 8 point leaders, for "Angler of the Year,"  in a "Ultimate Match Fish-Off" type of Championship with a "winner take all" scenario.

Champion will receive rights to a 32" tall "Angler of the Year" traveling trophy, with their name engraved for that year, to keep until someone takes it away. There are sponsored items and some cash as well. Castaway Graphite Rods and Ferguson auto dealership are major sponsors to the AOY.

Everyone is welcome to visit one of our meetings and see what the "buzz" is all about!
