I looked at a couple of the Split grip Crucial rods at the bass pro at Dolphin mall in miami. But now I can't find any place that has them listed so I can look at all the specs.

Anyone have a link to a site that has them all listed?

In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away.

Thanks Dug!

Am I reading it right, The flipping stix are the only ones availble with split grip handles?

Nope there are flipping stix, drop shot rods and casting rods that all have the split grips.

I think it is the 7' 11", the 7'6", and the 7' that come in split grips. I have the 7'6" MH/Xfast and the 7' M/Fast. Both are great rods. It says the 7' is a drop shot rod, but the action isn't really that of any DS I have seen. I love it for weightless senko's, flukes, and smaller cranks like Bandit 100-300's. The 7'6" is my jig/frog rods. It's pretty stiff. I have no need for anything 7'11", so I have never even held it. ;)

that rod does have great action...if I could do anything different, I'd have Shimano put a balancing system on the butt end...that would take their Crucial series rods from excellent to just about everything a guy could want in a rod...

I want a 7ft MH For pitching soft plastics.  I really had my heart set on a 7'2 cumara. but I have seen a lot of post around different forums about rod breakage on several different models. Just from what I have been seeing I think it was a bad run of blanks. BUT there is no way to know what you are going to get untill it either breaks or it doesn't. So I thnk I will get another crucial to finish out the year and keep my eyes opn for what I want this fall and winter..

I've had nothing but food luck from my Cumara's. Been going on 2 years now with about 10 of them and none have broken. ;) One of the best rods I've ever had.
