I already have 3 carrot stix and i love them. I was thinking about getting this 7'3" rod for throwing swimbaits and 10in. worms mainly. It might also throw a carolina rig or buzz frog with it on occasion as well. Do you think this would be a good rod for this? I'd love to hear from anyone who has this rod and what they use it for.

I use mine to throw big spinners and vibrashocks, I think it would be fine for 10in worms as well, but swimbaits, it really depends on the size.

In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away.

Well for soft swimbaits from 4-5in lets say, does it have plenty of backbone??

I have a 4 of the  7'3" and I use it for Carolina Rig's,Small Swimbaits and one for throwing worms. I go to the 7'6" for the big swimbaits.. This rod has plenty of backbone for big worms.. Great rods.... I love all of my Carrot Stix's (17).

For being such a great rod there sure have been quite a few of them break since they have came out!!  I have a good friend that owns a shop and USED to sell them for about a year until he got tired of doing warranty replacements because of them breaking (LTX models are all he sold).  I had 5 of them to start out with originally, all of them broke but 1, they were all replace by warranty and free of charge I will admit that was great but in a matter of 8 months I broke 6 carrot stix, my friend broke 4, and my friend that has the fishing shop said he replaced over 20.  All of the rods that I broke and all of the rods my friend broke all broke in the same exact spot, right down next to the very 1st guide towards the handle either casting a bait or on the hookset.  On one occasion my buddy set the hook on one of this 7' XH action models and it actually broke right on the 1st guide and the guide flew off and came back and hit him the face and cut his check with the guide foot.  I still have one in the corner of my room that I haven't had replaced as of yet and all the other have been replaced with brand new rods and I sold them before I ever used the darn things.

In my opinion it's a lightweight, very sensitive rod that I honestly enjoyed fishing with, but as a tournament fisherman it's an inconvience to have to wait for a warranty rod to be sent to you just because they break all the time.

I own 2 7'3 MH and love them. Very sensitive and light.

I own six carrot sticks. Really like all of them but the flipping stick. Any case I happen to have broke one of the 6.9 Medium Heavy rods last month. I called e21 and was greeting by a lady that was real nice. Sent her all the information and a check for shipping and three weeks later a new rod. Guy's it can't get any better than that.

Very good customer service.

I have 3 Carrot Stix, 6'9, 7'0 and 7'3.  I love them all.  I try to use the 6'9 as much as possible only because I have a Chronarch MG on it, and can flip it all day.  However, the 7'3 is my favorite!  The only problem I ever had was when I accidentally crushed an eye on it when my boat hit a stump in high wind, and I lost balance and stomped on it.  With the warrantee, I had a new pole the same day!  After buying my first Carrot Stix, my brother bought a few, and so did a few of my friends.  Element, we are glad to have your input here!!
