As always I was planning on attending the Shootout this year. Had a couple of good trips on north Toledo last spring. However, for my birthday my son set me up a trip to Amistad that week. So you guys have a great time I know I will. Oh one more thing

Hope you have a good time at Amistad. We put it early this year to avoid the oilmans tournaments, well guess what? The damn La. oilmans is that Friday and Saturday. I wish them a--holes would set a date and stick with it.

Yep about 600 but really and truely on lake the size of Toledo it's not that big of a deal. It just ticks me off when we try to plan around them by looking at their previous years and then they go and change up and have it early.

Well if you take the adage of 90% of the fish will be in 10% of the water that equates to putting 600+ boats fishing in a lake the size of Caddo! :o

Are they going to put ticket booths at entrance of the fishing holes so we can take a number? lo

The Texas oilmans was out there 2 years ago when we were fishing south for the UBCS and they are bigger. As for the launch, they can launch anywhere. I think their weigh in is at Cypress Bend. It's not as bad as you think but like I said it's just aggravating to try and schedule around these guys when they can't stick to a date.
