Well after three weekends of hitting the water ( bank fishing) trying to find some fish, my buddy final put one bass on the bank, as did some Koreans next to us. They were using a red worm about 4 in. had nothing in my box to match it.

Have no idea what the water temp was but would guess about 48-51
Lure used by Donny was a speed worm in green pumpkin, slow steady retrieve.
i threw a rattle trap, Jig and a suspending stick bait most of the afternoon with no strikes.
I did see a lot of smaller fish busting the top but there seemed to be nothing with them. Tried throwing a chart. mister twister as that was the smallest thing i had with me, i could feel them bumping the lure as i went through the schools.
well there is always next weekend and the weekend after that, should get better and better with time and temps

Hey Chewy, I think I recognize that spot you are at  ;)  it looks like the first corner of the reservior closest to the base main gate and near the small Police station!   but I may be wrong.

I have fished that spot before, and didn't catch much there, but found that if you fish all along the grassy bank towards the small village and throw weightless texas rigged 4" and 5" senkos in watermelon/red, you will catch a bunch of fish as soon as the water warms up just a little more.
