3 Mile Report:

Air Temp was 38 to about 45
Water 56.3° to 57.7°
Clarity: main lake = 3'; Coves considerably less, backs of coves=2"
Wind NW at 25+

Fish are shallow, but not necessarily on beds (of the 8 we caught, not one had a bloody tail).

We caught them on a variety of lures, but mainly a JB and plastic.  In thee areas of super clarity, I did not find even one bed.  I suspect, since the water temperature plummeted this week, the fish are in shock and have pulled back.  The exception would be males on eggs or fry from the first wave.

This week promises air temps below the water temp, and 2 heavy rain events, so don't expect the water to rebound by Saturday's tournament.
