Tallahassee Bass Anglers at Lake Jackson

The Tallahassee Bass Anglers had a club tournament today on the lake and will probably set a record catch for bass angler Brent Zapata. Brent blows away his competition with a five fish limit ...the biggest being a whopper fish weighing 12.31 lbs. Adding to his catch were 4 more fish giving him a total weight of 30.98 lbs. for the win. His partner Don Gainey had 11lbs and something which gave these guys a grand total weight of about 42 lbs. of fish out of the same boat. Folks....this is HUGE news for a lake that has come back from a dry lake bed that many say ..."there are no fish in this lake"...or..."are there fish in this lake? All the fish caught today...were released back into the lake alive. 
Congrats to the Tallahassee Bass Anglers and Brent for a fantastic day on the lake ...a day that will truly go into their record book.

Thanks for the report.  I use to SLAY them on this lake 15 years ago. It's done that sinking thing several times and the fish always seem to come back.

I always had a ibe jibys while fishing next to the sink hole.
