I am looking at buying a 2006 Nitro 911 CDC with a 225 Mercury Pro XS.

I am concerned about speed and resale value.  Can anybody with this type of boat or know someone that owns one please help me out.  Are they easy to get sell if you wanted a different boat?  What is the speed on these boats?

Proper set-up adn you may squeeze 70 out of her.  They are a real heavy boat with a ton of storage and a dry smooth ride.  As for resale, not sure as I just bought mine used in December.

I test drove a 2006 901 with a 200hp and it did 70 and I own a 2006 929 with a 250xs and it does over 70 so it would be a safe guess that you'll get near 70mph. And yes, the 9 series boats are very large 8ft across with the most storage you'll find! The ride in my 929 is unbelievably smooth and dry! I love it! Not sure on the resale value but I just bought my 2006 929 for $26,000 and it retailed near $40,000 new.

Not sure where you are located but I saw a new 08 Z-9 CDC for sell in North Carolina or South Carolina. Check out Foothills Marine .com. It was there a few weeks ago. Not sure if what they want for it but it might be worth checking out.
