Quote from: Basspro96 on June 07, 2011, 03:11:17 PM Don't get so caught up in finding sponsors you forget how to fish.... I feel like I have done that lately. I didn't up my fishing skills but I upped my savvy in business. You still have to fish. I love fishing, and sponsors are great to have because they do relieve alot of financial strain. But you have to remember that it is a job too.... You must turn in reports and your grades do matter. If your failing school why would they hire you. That would probably mean that you don't have good skills. Bassmaster893... You should really re think grades. They mean alot. Grades are a reflection of performance, but back to sponsors. Don't start out with 12 sponsors start out with one, then build. If you get too many at a young age it can be stressful, but if you work hard for the company it will pay off. Greatly. Just remember this thing...There is no substitution for time on the water. I hope I helped you out. P.S. when you send your resume to a company, tweak it a little bit to be geared toward the company your trying to reach!
