After much headache with trying to come up with a Natural Shad, I've decided to stick with this one. Please let me know what you guys honestly think, it gave me a lot of trouble.

Marc, you do beautiful work! I like the shad very much!  ~c~

I also think you did one hell of a job on them!  ~c~

That is amazing! That lure looks great!

That natural shad is one awesome looking paint job. I would love to throw that out here in my local waters. ~c~

That Shad is SICK!!  I don't know how much effort you put into it, but know that it was worth it because you're hard work shows.   ~c~

That's probably the best shad pattern I have ever laid eyes on. No lie. ~c~

i just noticed the shad has a square bill too,  . . . is that to commemorate KVDs classic win ??  :)

That is almost too pretty to throw! Well done!

In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away.

Definately worth all the trouble, great work!!

Absolutely!!! Good grief that is amazing.   I'll see it's the best pattern of ANY kind I've ever seen.

those look great!  I dont know how that shad pattern frustrated you, i can only imagine how mine would come out! lol

That bait is something I'd buy and throw in a heartbeat...I know those big "sows" over here would eat up that C.B. Love to buy one off you.

Looks just like some of the baitfish in my area! Very nice Work! ~cf

Perfect.  Absolutely perfect.  Might not be a dead on copy of an actual shad...but it is extremely close...and has a lot of the correct triggering characteristics in terms of visuals.

One area of question:  I seem to think that the real find glitter works best when it's a lavender/purple hue...and with the newer UV focus, I'm now wondering if it has anything to do with auto-flourescence under water?
