Hey Guys and Gals, the Classic is coming fast. Its going to be a shootout to the finish on East Fork Lake. On a personal note, I don't think that I have ever been so excited to fish a tournament as I am for this one. It's going to be tough, just the way a Classic should be.
If you plan on heading over to pre-fish you will need a launch permit. They are not sold at the ramp. here is the info on where to get them. Information about boat licenses can be found at http://www.ci.olney.il.us/Visitors/Lakes.htm You can mail order prior to going or purchase them at the bait shops at the lakes, City Hall or The Holiday will also be selling them.
Don't forget to purchase an Illinois fishing license as well. http://www.dnr.illinois.gov/fishing/Pages/default.aspx
If you have not booked your room yet, you should do so ASAP. There is a wedding reception on Saturday night. Josh Ray has already claimed dibs on the Bridesmaids. Here is the link to the Hotel.
http://www.theholidayolney.com/ I am working with Pizza hut on catering dinner for Saturday night. We will have pizza, pasta's and bread sticks. Please bring your own drinks. The Hotel is giving us a conference room to use. There will be plenty of tables set up for us. I will bring my poker chips if any of you are interested in a poker game. The indoor swimming pool will be open for our use.
Our annual fund raiser, The Halloween Havoc, is coming up October 29th. Please support this event. We have a couple items in mind that we would like to purchase for the next season. We would like to purchase a new pop up awning with the IBC logos on it. Also a sound system like we used at the charity tournament has been mentioned. Please get your entries to me. I will take them at the classic.
Hopefully this info helps. If you have any questions please call or text.
