Rich Zaleski (a classic fishing writer for many magazines) suggested this idea for keeping worms over the hook eye.
http://www.richz.com/fishing/fishtips/rebarb.html  I know it works because I no longer carry toothpicks.
Radio Shack carries shrink tubing. A candle does the rest.

What a great Idea Sam I think I will try it. What hook do you use with the Salad Spoon?

I've never used the Salad Spoon. I use the tubing to hold my plastic worms in place.
