The topwater bite is in full swing and I got a bunch of spooks to paint. Made up a few new colors as I went. Tied a few of the custom feathered trebles on a couple of them. Also carved my first bait of the year, The Joker Shad.

I have a Ranger shirt with a bait sort of this color. I added a few details to it. Painted on a fullsize zara spook.

Cherry Sparkle... With a custom feathered treble.

Frog...With a custom feathered treble.

Chartreuse Perch

Bluegill

Chartreuse Crappie

My first carved bait this year....Joker Shad painted in Threadfin Shad, Carved from basswood.
