Wanting to make my own spinner baits and buzz baits need some help

I want to start making my own spinner baits and buzz baits and I see the kits available but are they really any good? In spinner baits I like 1/2 ounce but in a smaller frame then usuall for a 1/2 ounce. I love smaller frames any ideas where or how to get this while being on a heavier head? Same goes for my buzzbaits I love the smaller 1/4 ounce sized buzzbaits because of there small profile. Any ideas would be great thanks

The kits like jannes craft sell are a good place to start, unless you want to get into pouring your own.
THere are alot of places to get blades from and the assortment is almost endless. The more you do the cheaper it becomes you can get great price breaks buying parts in bulk.

Thanks no I dont want to pour my own not yet atleast. Janns I have looked at allot just didnt know if the heads and wires were of any decent quality

Barlow's, Jann's, Lakeland, Lure parts on line , Worth have all quality components as far as hardware goes. On small profile frame versus heavier heads you will have to look around to find or have them custom made. Many of the spinnerbait heads sold are for the average head versus wire diameter.
