Why is it?

That the worlds largest OS is also the biggest POS. We as consumers shouldn't put up with this crap. I can guarantee my next purchase will not have windows on it.

I just went through 5 days of troubleshooting, cleaning, wiping and reinstalling my computer. Today, I figure it's all good again and try and do the updates as part of a routine reboot...

Guess what, it failed and my computer is stuck on the Reverting screen....

AND they are going to want me to pay an annual fee to be abused in the future screw that and screw them...

Okay rant over, time to go crash everything again

In my research I'm pretty much screwed. Apparently this is a loop and I'm going to have to reinstall everything yet again. If I had any money I would own apple products across the board. My phone is the only reliable thing I have. However I can't manage the site from it.

Sorry for your pain. All retailers are starting to go this route. Like the auto makers discovered long ago, the money isn't in the original sale but in maintainence and repair. The computers on many cars will not let the car run for long until you fix it and reset the computer. In the past, you could continue driving until you could fix it.

I just had to have Rick fix my computer when he was at my house. I have Windows Vista in my HP, I never had any problem until the last "update". Good thing he knew his stuff. A fair trade since I saved him a couple hundred bucks on a new taillight assembly.
