I seem to have boats everywhere I look now. I have a kayak I use to chase wounded ducks, A canoe for duck hunting and slow river fishing, a 15 foot aluminum with a 15hp for the local limted hp lakes, My Crestliner Kodiak 18 that was my bass and walleye boat, now my walleye boat, and now the Stratos is heading this way.
I keep having to move things around to make room for the next one. Am I the only guy that doesn't let things go after you get better?

I do the same thing with rods and have a whole corner full of rods I may never use again. But no I am not a hoarder as I throw things away if I don't think I won't use them again.

Old Fishermen never die, their rods just go limp.

If you don't use it within a couple years then it is time to pitch it.  Of course once you do get rid of it, that is when you need it.  My wife recently called me a pack rat.  She is partly right, but I love to point out when I use items that I saved for another project  ~roflmao

Now that I have my deck boat and have it set up for fishing, I am seriously thinking about getting rid of my canoe.  My rationale is I can use the money to buy another play toy! ~shade

When you start asking that question then maybe you have to many!!!
Enjoying retirement in the great Pacific Northwest.  I've turned into a fair weather angler.  Why do it today when I can do it tomorrow?

Rodney,

~roflmao ~roflmao  That 18 Kodiak isn't going anywhere and it has never been driven like a little old lady.

Fishballer,
It is not a fishing kayak. Too tippy.

Brian,

That was on my mind but trying to figure out what to get rid of. I have a use for all of them and have used everyone in the last year.

I'm going to watch your episode on the TV show Hoarders. It could be a very interesting intervention. lo

Congrats on having all the toys  ~c~  BTW what does it cost to register the boats and trailers up there?

Down here I pay $75.00 dollars for trailer plates.

Boat registration for my Stratos is $53.00 dollars.

Boat registration for my G3 is $32.00 dollars.

Those prices don't sound too bad.  Our trailers fees are good for 1 yr.  The boat registrations are good for 2 yrs.
