Just ordered a DC736cb glass and a Kaden744c. I can't wait to get them on the water with a chatterbait and a swimjig. they are going to get a lot of work this year.

I have the 735cb glass and love it. It balances so nice for a glass rod. Good choice!

I need a new cranking rod, not sure I want to go with glass though. My Xtasy DRX753C split handle just arrived this weekend, can't wait to get it out on the water. Maybe there'll be a Champion XP 805CB on my back porch next month.

I already have the 735cb glass and feel a little under powered for chatterbaits as I've had a few come unbuttoned with it. But for mid depth and shallow cranks it is great.

I am really tempted to get the 805cb and the 795 extreme next.

I looked at some Kaden rods at Sportsmans warehouse last week. It was the first time that I actually saw and held one and I was impressed. I think it really does fit in perfectly between the Sierra and Champion lines. I have more Extremes than anything else, but I think the champion line has more to offer than any other line. But, with that said, the Kaden line looks to me like it will be a great performer.

I've held (but not fished) a DRX and WOW it was light!!

So true. I fished my DRX 725C a lot last summer and it was almost like I didn't have a rod in my hand. Incredible sensitivity too.

I use Suffix advance 17lb on one and 50lb braid on the other. The 735cb glass is used more in clear water around rock and wood and the 736cb glass in the weeds.

Gary has mastered how to combine glass and graphite better than anyone. His composite models are that good. I will agree the Kaden series is a great option between the Sierra and Champion series, especially for guys like me who prefer faster actions. The big surprise in the Kadens is the CB pair. The 610-4CB is the best bang for the buck jerk bait rod I've fished to date. I added a 743C and 735CB which should be here next Wednesday. The entire Dobyns crew is frantically trying to keep up with orders. Don't call on Monday guys.
