But B.A.S.S. has set up a slugfest for next year, I predict records broken on several events this coming season :toot:

Jason Christie called it last night "The Wheelbarrow Tour" because you're going to need a wheelbarrow to carry in all your fish to every weigh in.

I'm glad to see they're stretching the season out longer in the year as opposed to this year. I'd love to see one more northern event though.

I know its all about the money being put up by the host cities but would like to see a few locations that are not in their regular rotation of sites. At least Lake Oahe is only on its 2nd time. Love to see big bags and big fish caught but a never before fished site would be nice to.
Retired and loving every minute of it!

A couple years ago they run the elites to a bunch of new water and apparently the return on exposure wasn't very good. So they went back to the heavy hitters. And yes it's about the dollars.

To be bluntly honest I haven't paid any attention to the pros or the tours the past 5 or 6 years, mostly because of my joint problems and I don't see it changing. I'm finally back fishing and at least for now it's enough, that and being here with family.

Old Fishermen never die, their rods just go limp.

Man, so much has changed in that time. You can watch the guys live all day long, each day during the events. As well as a fairly accurate weight update throughout the whole thing as well. Technology has made live bass fishing a fun sight to be seen.
