Hello everyone. I know you can't tell, but I have a grin on my face from ear to ear. I received my molds today that will allow me to offer much more variety with the same El Grande Lures custom touch. Here is what I will be bringing to the store in a few days:

7" Stick bait (El Grande MexiStick)
9" Jerk bait much like a Flappin Shad, but BIG  (El Grande Shad)
6", 5" and 4" Bass Assassin type jerk bait. (El Grande Minnow)

Filling a void in the market - very few large plastic options in both jerk baits and stick baits.  I'm sure our members will be all over these!! ~c~
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,

Thanks for the boost there Swede. Many people are intimidated by larger baits. On my last trip to Mexico in February, I wish I could have taken a picture of my guides face when I pulled out the 12" Langostino. He looked at me like I had grown a second head out of my neck. When I pitched it, he just laughed. When I hooked up for the first time on a 2lb fish, he about fell out of the boat. He could not believe that monster of a plastic would readily catch all sizes of bass. Confidence is the key. Once you catch your first fish on a big bait, it's all over. The quality of fish is better and you feel better about it. I lay in bed at night thinking about throwing that 9" El Grande shad this June on El Salto. The possibilities are endless...........anywhere you fish.

Have you noticed the trend among larger lure companies? Everyone is coming out with big worms, etc.. I know one lodge owner in Mexico that fishes with one bait, a 10 inch black worm. That's it, and he'll catch fish all day long.

Here is a picture of my  guide who thought it was hilarious to use the Langostino. I made him hold the fish so I could rub it in a little. Not a big bass, but that proves a point. In my opinion, you increase your chances of a bigger bass without giving up on quantity.
