All depends on the weather. I'm going to go low ball on this one and say 9 lbs.

Terry and I have won a TCTC tourny on caddo with just 5 unders.

BassBUFF

Jeff and I won't be able to make this one, family gathering takes precedence. Good luck out there!

Nutt

I wont make this one, either.  Gonna be in Arkansas floating the Caddo River with family and friends.  Hopefully I will make the Cypress tournament in August.
Doctor says I should stay away from other people.

Talked to Paul Keith today and he says that his clients are tearing them up :-* Better put a big sack in the boat.... I may have to make this one  :o

Two reasons your correct...

First
I did talk to Paul, but he said they are catching a lot of numbers. If you can find them on the big lake you'll rack up. Once you catch one, stay on them and fight through the numbers for some keepers.

Second
I'm not going to make this one. I'm still recovering from the two day on the river and have a lot of work to do around here. I'll need Sunday to help me get caught up.

Paul didn't give up any patterns but if you think about it, his patterns are always simple enough to put anglers of all experience levels on fish ~shade

For a winning weight, I'm liking the thought of two overs and 3 unders. Add in there that it's summer and the weights will be down. An over might weight 3 pounds and an under a pound. So lets go with 10 pounds just incase one of them had a bluegill for breakfast.

How about 9.6 that should be close with the small fish I have caught on the red just hope to find some that are over 12" for a weigh fish. ~rant

oldjim

I think 8.5 with a 6lb big bass, that was my last trip to caddo, but I may not make this one. Wife had gall bladder out and I may have to  still be home to help here. They punched 4 holes and that is OK,but lots of throat trauma from breathing tube. What time is check in?
Oldjim

Railroader

3pm, hey if you cant make it pm me with the location of where that big one was caught.. ;)  ~shhh
hope every thing works out..

Oldjim

Hey Jim hope things are going will for your wife, our thoughts are with you guys  ~sun

The site I use shows sunrise @ 6:10 so I would guess we should be able to blast off around 5:42 or so based on weather and the TD view on safe light.  Check in goes better if it can be done at least 15 min prior if not before.

SUN
Begin civil twilight       5:42 a.m.
Sunrise                    6:10 a.m.

Brian (railroader), you'll have to run the show this time. I'll get the book to you or someone that's fishing.
I won't make it this time since I'm boat-less. Yes the Alpha is SOLD. Good luck everyone.

We were going to get that regardless.

Russ199A

Well, in that case then I guess John and I will make it to keep you honest. I'll bring the book and take care of things in the morning.
See you all then.
We will be blasting off around 0540-0545. There is a chance of T-storms so mind the weather once you are out there.
