My port aerator is not working. I push the button and it is just lighting up and flashing and the aerator is not coming on. The strbd is working fine. I bought a new insert and put in it, but got the same blinking light. I figure it is a fuse, but can not find a fuse anywhere. Anybody got a clue how to fix this issue?

Could be the switch going out or a fuse as you said,,,,, did you look up under the drivers console for them?

jbarnwell

I looked all under the console. The electronic control panel just has one multi port connector under there. Traced the wires as far as i could removing batteries and misc. equip. in the rear to no avail. I have a tourney tomorrow and really wanted it to work, but gave up on it. Replaced the batteries and got everything secure. Tried it one more time, and the damn thing started working....Go figure?? Two days it hasn't worked, must have tried it two dozen times. OH well, it is working for the time being. Thanks for replying back Ron.

Would like to know for future reference, what the light flossing means.

You need to first see if you have power at the Pump....  I am betting that you need a new pump cartrige. If you have power then plug in a new cartrige and you will be good to go.

No power... then you will have to find the break..  I would start at the Switch.

Shawn he said he bought a new incert I figured that was the new pump. jbarnwell did I read you 1st post wrong? If so Shawn is right on the $$

OOPS!  I missed the new Insert part.  ~b~

Where is the Flashing Light?

jbarnwell

The flashing light was on the aeration button at the console switches. I did change out the cartridge and it did the same thing. After an hour or so of having the new cartridge in there, and putting the troll batteries back in i tried it before going to bed, and it started working.

FYI : I fished the Tournament on the Red River the next day - Red River Oilmens Invitational in Shreveport and out of +/- 200 teams, we won it with 18.62 lbs with a 7.7 lb big bass. Aerators worked fine and kept the fish healthy healthy all day.

Thanks for the input guys.
