I have never had fees that much. I have ordered dozens of duck and goose decoys and they haven't cost that much

Am I reading that right that you bought one item for $25.56 And the rest is either a tax or a fee ? Goodness gracious ! I've sold a couple banjos and shipped them to Canada ,  makes me wonder if they had to pay alot more than what I got in payment.

Maybe it's just me but you post a lot of complaints about us and our country.   I don't know anything about your taxes or import fees but sure looks like you have close to $90.00 in goverment charges that has nothing to do with UPS but the country you live in and them wanting a cut

Well, I finally paid off my medical bill from last summer. $13,500 after insurance, this is why I love living in Canada. I wouldn't have to pay a thing.

I've had to learn about the Electoral college for a speech I had to write for school. Man, It is the dumbest system.

Don't even complain about shipping prices lol. I bought 2 rods from the states and ups charged me $230 in extra shipping. Fedex is the same way

I was looking at boats south of the border. I have seen the same standard boat go for $20,000 cheaper in the states then here. I wish Bass Pro/Nitro would get rid of of their stupid buying policy. Canadians can't buy new Nitros in the states because they want to protect the BPS and other dealers up here.

I'm going out on a Limb here and say Oklahoma should not get any aid from the Feds. I know i'm not the only person who thinks this. If Sen. James Inholf and Sen.Tom Coburn can refuse Hurricane Sandy and any other states that need aid. These guys do it all the time. There was a Federal 12.5 Billion dollar fund that was going to be started to help with natural disasters and these guys voted against it. So lets not give aid to any states that need it but when it comes to Oklahoma, give us everything you got. Really??? I can't believe the people of Oklahoma vote in the most loathsome politicians in the country

It's sad that it happened, but this happens every year. You would think people would get the hint that living in a place called Tornado ally could have it's risks

I took care of the shipping for my former employer and can tell you flat out that UPS, Fedex and the other shipping costs into Canada are because of the fees they have to collect to give your government so that you can have "free" healthcare. I also know what many of your fellow countrymen think about your healthcare system, it aint pretty. You pay much higher taxes for your free healthcare, you charge us much more to fish and hunt in your country to pay for your free healthcare, you sell most of your goods to us to help pay for your free healthcare and you depend on our military so that you can have free healthcare. Now that our politicians are morphing into yours and the European politicians and we are giving everything away to others for "free" and the costs of healthcare and everything else is climbing we won't be able to support your free stuff and in a few years we both will look like third world nations. Son, then you can bitch and moan all you want about us, but you'll still have to find out what work is. Rant over. I have a lot of fondness for the Canadians I delt with and have met over the years, but you denigrate my country without cause or knowledge, turn about is fair play son.

I'm located up here in Western Washington state about 70 miles from the border.  I get a lot of Canadian customers, in fact I have one coming today and two tomorrow.  I can tell you that if a Canadian is in our state for at least 48 hours they can purchase and take back up to $800.00 per person duty free.  I also know that if I ship something to Canada that the shipping to the border is the same as anywhere in the states.  It's not the US that adds all those fees and duty to the product, it's the Canadian government.  Maybe you don't realize that any product you purchase in any country has fees attached to it.  I know from talking to many of my customers that the reason they purchase from me is that even with the duty's the product costs them less, because the merchant in Canada pays the duty and adds it to the cost.  If you don't like your governments import fees then purchase locally and behind the scenes you will pay it anyways, you just don't see it as a separate charge!!!

1. Our healthcare syetem is not "Free" Like you guys think it is. Our system also varies from Province to Province. Some Provinces have it better then the others, mostly due to population size. We in the rest of the western world believe healthcare is a Right to have and you shouldn't have a need to put a price on it.

2. HA, we need YOUR military to protect us? OMG I don't even know where to start on that one. How far from the truth your statment is.

3. I am not anti-America. America is anti-America now

4.Lets tackle the OK statment. So you think that with destruction on the east coast is less important then OK? It's okey for them to suffer and OK senators think so but, when it comes to them. Everything should stop and everyone should fund a relief effort because they are a Republican state?

5. America is not giving anything away for free neither. The Oligopoly that runs the country has business everywhere. All the Corporatocracy wants is money. Thats why the States get things so cheap. A way to squeeze and bully countries that have what they want.

6. We won't be a third world country. We give money to social programs instead of funneling everything into our military.

You think i'm Anti-America without thinking first. Someone who is informed and had a different opinion then yours does not make them hate some where other then then home country. Just becase someone doesn't agree with you doesn't make me a hater. Outside of States is more informed about what is going on there then the people that live there.

Took me many years to figure this out. It is very hard to express yourself and have what you intended to say be what is written on the page.
  My dad taught me sometimes it is better to be thought a fool than open your mouth and it be proven. I know you are young and these are just words but a light bulb will go off sometime in your life.
  Stick to asking questions about boats or baits and leave the comments about the political crap alone. So with that being said good fishing to all.
