So I poured my first batch of jigs today, they came out ok but when I went to paint them, I heated them and the weed guard just melted and deformed. So my question how do paint them without destroying the weed guard  :-\

CWhite----you may have seen the answer on the "Powder Coating" thread in this forum.  If not, just leave the pin used to amke the hole for the weedguard in place and then heat up jig, power coat, then remove the pin within a few seconds(with pliers...I say that cause Im dumb and grabbed a hot pin) ~xyz.  The hole will be nice and clean.  I also recommend putting the skirt on proir to placing the weedguard.  That way you dont have to bend the weed guard way back when you put the skirt on.  GOOD LUCK AND FISH ON!!!
