I am thinking about a new bass boat 18 to 19 ft range 150HP. Over the sumer I had looked at stratos triton and skeeter. I liked the stratos 189 with 150 Pro XS best. What do hall like and why.

Ranger is up for sale, triton and stratos are built in rangers plant. So the future of those 2 brands is uncertain. I suggest the skeeter based on this.

Here is a great Charger bass boat which is under 20K (below dealer cost). http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/9834485/5

Are you looking for a brand new rig?

These days all manufacturers, put out some great products. It's going to come down to what fits your needs best. Storage, seating, layout, deck space are all things to concsider.

I'm very partial to Legends, the ride is very important to me (I have sever back problems) and you won't find a better ride IMO. The layout maximizes the space in the boat perfectly for my fishing needs. Finally you won't find a prettier rig on the water. The fade color combinations are beautiful!!!

Check out the Legend website. The 191 might fit your needs. It's rated for more bourse power but would do fine with a 150.

Just click on their banner on the right of the screen, it's the top banner.

Of those three, Stratos.  I think they are the better built of the three.  Take them for a ride see what feels right to you.  Being a Ranger man I have to suggest the 188.  Might be surprised at the price.

Don't rule out the BassCat Sabre. I love mine. They are a very well built boat. And not to mention, basically the only family owned & run company left.

This is one of those questions while asked with good intentions, never gets any real results for answers.

Why? Because each person that answers will reply that the Brand of Boat that they chose is the best one for you.

Nothing wrong with that, as most folks will do a ton of research before they buy and for them the one they bought was the perfect boat. Unfortunately that does not mean it is the best boat for you.

The only thing you cane do is look at as many as you can. Test ride as many as you can. Price as many as you can, at different dealers.

With today's technology there is a very small chance that whatever Brand you decide on will give you problems. Almost all of them build great boats.

Have fun with your search.

Bass Cat Sabre or Sabre FTD.  if you want to go up to 19 ft then the Pantera Classic or Pantera II would be a great option.
Bass Cat just released special show season packages on both the Sabre FTD and Pantera II so you may want to give them a close look.
You won't find a better ride on the water than a Bass Cat.  Perfect blend of Speed, Comfort, Dry Ride, and Fishability.
