Dawson Lake is about 150 acres. It's at Moraine View State Park about 10 miles southeast of Bloomington. It is unlimited horsepower- No Wake.

Storming (again) in the morning so we waited until about 7:30 to get on the water. Water was surprisingly clear on the south end of the lake, near the dam. Caught a few Bass in the 12 to 13 inch range, but it was pretty slow. That is unusual for Dawson. You can almost always count on catching 15 to 17's here.

Nothing we did, established what I would call a pattern. The fish were caught on everything from  flukes to deep cranks. The majority were probably on plastic. Lizards, and of course Sweet Beavers.

Moraine has a restaurant right by the launch. The Tenderloins are excellent and breakfast is even better. That was probably the highlight of the day. I can live with that.

Thanks for the report and glad y'all at least caught a few fish. I saw where y'all were getting a lot of rain down there.
