I recently purchased a RT178, 75 merc, power tech ss prop, 70lb MK trolling motor. I love this boat for the FL swamps. Sold my off shore rig due to non use. I was on the fence between the Ranger and a Tracker. After seeing the quality difference it was a no brainer. Not bashing tracker, i've owned 2, no problems with either. I couldnt get the sales people at my Bass Pro to respond or call me back. Glad they didn't.

Welcome to the family. I bought a vs1780 this year. You are dead on with the quality work they do. I love my Ranger "tin" boat.
