 The name is Glenn.
I am about 10 years away from retiring. I have always ran glass boats with some smaller tin boats, for skinny water.  I currently have a 2006 pro team 175 with a 60hp merc on it. Love the Fishability of this little boat.  Was shopping around for a new one here recently. And I just can't seem to spend that kind of money they're asking for one that isn't much different than the one I have. So I'm going to do a complete restoration on this one. And hang onto it for a while longer. I currently live in Fort Wayne Indiana. I have two daughters 35 and 30 a wife at 36 years that I absolutely cannot live without . She will out fish me in a heart beat. Three grandchildren the youngest one is only one week old. I've had seven  different boats in my life. And I'm pretty good at fixing whatever comes my way. So I guess you could say I am  tinker lol.  Hope to get to know you guys. And hope to be of some help to anyone that needs help. Thanks for your time. Glenn

Hi Glenn and welcome to Ultimate Bass.  In the Forums area under General Bass Boat Discussions you will find the Aluminum Boat section.  In there you will find lots of ideas in pictures and print for aluminum boat restorations.  You will find Bigwrench's high deck restoration of his aluminum boat and lots of suggestions for that.  You will also find mine, Kris, on the redo of my Ouachita flat bottom.  Mine  I did as a low deck model so I can take my three year old Grandson fishing with me next year.
Peruse the section and if you have any questions I know Rick and I will be more than glad to answer.
