I spent Easter Weekend camping and fishing on Cypress Lake with my family.  What with some higher winds and all the ski boats and jet skis the water was churned up.  I got to tell you that my boat take it all and asked for more.  Running 68.8 gps by my self and tournament load and walked over the top of all the white caps like it was nothing.  I do love my boat.  Room to run laps if fishing don't give you the work out you need yet handles like a sports car.

I did get talked to Saturday after noon by a park ranger he said he would have given me a ticket today for busting the 50MPH lake speed limit but he could catch me.  I watched boat after boat get tossed around all weekend because if you don't watch the waves or wakes they will catch you off guard.  The biggest part of having fun on the water is being safe.  Got to know both yourself and your boats limits and always have to watch out for the other guy.

See you on the water

Good deal on the boat ride Fogy.  Now, what about the fishing.

That 50 MPH lake speed limit is NOT enforceable.  Wildlife and Fisheries folks told me that the Cypress patrol could not make that stick in court.

They told me the same thing. Also told me that the 12in minimum length signs they have posted on Cypress and Black Bayou aren't legal either. Only the LDWF can set size limits on public waters.

Yeah he wasn't being a  PoPo his partner told me I had his dream boat & that he saw the Ultimatebass.com stickers that I have on my motor and new he could talk to me because he knew Mike because he knew Jessica.  The guy that told me about the speed limit was the shorter of the tow that helped us out when we found the fuel leak, & was just giving me a hard time, but in a NICE WAY.  I did ask if he wanted a boat ride   >:D

Fogy offering a boat ride.  ~roflmao  He might have had to swim back.  >:D  ~roflmao

The 12 inch minimum on Cypress is NOT enforceable.  There is no 12 inch minimum on Black Bayou...only a 14 to 17 inch slot and it IS enforceable...that was done by WLF.
