So you think Bass Fishing is just a 'Soft Water Sport'.......WRONG!  ;D

Enjoy!

If your going on the ice this week.......BE CAREFULL!

Bigger the lake.....the more the 'weak ice holes' will appear!

Slush has a tendency to accumulate over 'weak spots'.
It ALL LOOKS THE SAME....but it's not!!!!!

Don't try and ruff it ALONE...take a buddy fishing.
Throw a rope on the sled too........your not going to be able to get close enough to 'pull each other out'.

Toss a rope and move at least 20 feet back to pull your buddy out of the hole.
Frequently the ice will break along the hole as you/they try to get back on the HARD ice.
Just keep back tracking and PULLING as you walk.....hard ice will come....just keep backing and pulling....EVEN WHEN he/they/you reach hard ice....DON'T GO UP AND GRAB THEM TO HELP THEM OUT OF THE WATER....your just asking to join them.

HAVE FUN AND BE SAFE!!!!!!!
JOE

If your hard water fishing.....let us know!
Buddy caught a 26" Sturgeon through the Ice 2 weeks ago on a 'Shinner'!
