PotomacRiver

Hi guys

Long time reader, first time poster.

Long story short.  I used to live in Lafayette, Louisiana and remember seeing Pro Gator Boats. Was really interested in them but I ended up buying an xpress. Now I live in Northern Virginia and fish the Potomac River. I'm highly interested in a Pro Gator. I've been talking to Leroy and I'm a frogs hair from ordering a 180.

Does anyone have any experience with this boat? How does it handle rough water? The Potomac is a large tidal river and can get rough in a heartbeat. Sticking with the 180 because of my garage.

Please give me any pros and cons you can think of!

Thanks!

I made a reply on the LA fishing report page.  As far as stable, my 190 is extremely stable and it takes on some big waves with no problem.  It is a little heavy compared to some but I have loved it!

The gator boats are a little heavy but that's because they are built to take a beating. The 180 will handle rough water as well and better than most boats in its class.
